Shakespeare’s quote states “All the worlds a stage,” and I believe “All arts a platform.”  From a very young age I would draw, often times drawing more then I spoke.  Somehow putting mediums on paper helped me in confidence communicate what I wanted to say and what I wanted them to see.  I began at art camps to majoring Advertising Art and Photography at McKinley High School.  I kept a steady interest in the arts.  I have been a part of a few art competitions and began displaying  my work at shows.  I love to create; when I am working on my art I want my art to touch, to connect, and to resonate with those who are viewing it.  Most of my work is done in acrylics, charcoal, and chalk pastels.  I enjoy many artists, but one of my favorites to watch is Zimou Tan.  In an interview with Chuck Close, ironically I was inspired when he said, “Inspiration is for amateurs”. His words forced me to take my craft more seriously and I began working harder at making good art rather than waiting for my art to get better.  I hope to be a great artist with a large audience.  I would like to be influential in art history across the country and all over the world.
