Music is Art – A Continued Success for the Arts in Buffalo

poster2016_lorezThe Music is Art festival continues to outdo itself year after year.  While last year’s weather put a damper on things, this year provided us with a considerable amount of sunshine at Delaware Park’s Hoyt Lake before the storms descended upon everyone.  What’s great about Music is Art is that you can enjoy so many different styles and genres all in one place without feeling overwhelmed.  This allows patrons to be exposed to something that they may not have previously considered being a fan of, making it a networker’s playground!  True talents are displayed, guards are let down, and you are allowed to enjoy yourself without feeling the anxiety of the typical shoulder to shoulder crowds.

Musicians, DJs, vocalists, dancers, and poets all performed simultaneously throughout the day on different stages, allowing spectators to browse and enjoy at their leisure surrounded by visual artists and of course FOOD!  We met a little bit of everyone including, musicians, designers, visual artists artists, caterers, performers, instructors and more as WNY gets more involved in the arts each year!

Special thanks goes out to Music is Art and all of the participants for an amazing event especially those who posed for photos including but not limited to:
