While a great deal of StreetPoetz.com is online, our goals towards sustainability is to ensure that we commit to a “green” way of thinking. Because our processes and habits effect the communities in which we live and work, we are committed to thinking of our environment first. Whenever possible, we are committed to the purchase of recycled or re-purposed products and seek vendors who have a sustainable/green policy in place.
- We are proud to say that we aim to ensure that 40% of event materials are of the recycled or re-purposed nature .
- Two out of three meetings are conducted via teleconference and or Skype to reducing our impact on traveling for meetings and multiple meetings when all members of our team are unable to attend.
Beyond the Environment
Social responsibility encompasses not only the protection of resources, but also our communities. Staying connected with the needs of those in our surrounding communities is at the forefront of our existence, as no company can exist without the people who are kind enough to support you. We are dedicated to utilizing our resources in ways that help better the lives of others as well as organizations whose purpose is to do the same.
Events are a great time to not only mingle, but to also encourage the participation of bringing the community together to help those in need. Stay updated on our annual food and toy drives as well as our Back-to-School initiatives.
